How to change your personal details in CSCS Card?
1- Change Name
To change the name on your CSCS Online account, you can provide one of the following:
- Marriage or civil partnership certificate
- Birth certificate
- Deed poll
- Statutory declaration of name change
- Passport
- Driving licence
- Or two of the following:
- Bank statement
- Utility bill
- Council tax bill
- A payslip
2- Change Address
You can change your postal address from your CSCS Online account, or over the phone by passing our security questions.
3- Change Date of Birth
To change the date of birth on your CSCS online account, you must provide one of the following:
- Passport
- Driving licence
- Birth certificate
4- Change National Insurance Number
To change the National Insurance number on your CSCS online account, you must provide one of the following:
- Plastic NI card
- Letter from HMRC
5- Change Gender
To change the gender/pronoun on your account, you can provide one of the following:
- Deed poll
- Statutory declaration of name and gender change
- Gender recognition certificate
- A new birth or adoption certificate showing the new gender
- Passport
- Driving licence

If you do not have a recognised qualification CSCS can issue you with a temporary card. Before a temporary card can be issued you must be registered with the appropriate qualification for your occupation.
What ID do I need for the CSCS test?

What’s the difference between SMSTS and SSSTS?
SMSTS and SSSTS are similar courses, but the SMSTS course goes into much deeper detail as it is designed for managers to be able to implement safety systems within the workplace; whereas the SSSTS is designed to give supervisors the skills needed to ensure compliance with these systems.
How do I renew my SSSTS?
It is a mandatory requirement to renew your SSSTS certificate every five years, by successfully completing this one-day SSSTS Refresher course. You must take this course before your certificate expires or you will need to re-take the full SSSTS course again.
Why do you need SSSTS?
The site supervising course is designed for foremen, first-line managers, supervisors and team leaders. If you are a supervisor working on a site that belongs to the Major Contractors Group or a UKCG site, the SSSTS certificate will be required.
