CCDO Demolition And Refurbishment Operative Description
The CCDO Demolition And Refurbishment Operative card qualifies individuals in the demolition of non-load bearing structures and the removal of fixtures and fittings as well as using mechanical hand tools. The red card is valid for 3 years and is non-renewable. Red cardholders must complete NVQ Level 2 within the 3-year time frame to convert the card to a fully qualified Blue Demolition Refurbishment Operative card.

Duties
Pre-requisites
Must have held a Demolition Labourer card and have 2 years Demolition Industry experience. To obtain a Demolition Labourers Level 1 card, you must meet all the pre-requisites for that card and complete the 1-day course with Level 1 test pass. Find out more about the course and check you have the right card:
Current Demolition Specialist or above Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Touchscreen Test Pass.
You must hold a current Asbestos Awareness Certificate (as a minimum). Other higher level Asbestos Training will be accepted. You can only obtain your Asbestos Awareness Certificate through NDTG, UKATA, ARCA, or ACAD (not E-Learning).
